THE UNFILTERED TABLE APPLICATION

A handful of times each year, we open The Unfiltered Table to a small group of guests for a weeklong culinary and wine experience centered around natural wine and the winemakers creating some of the most incredible wine in Portugal.

This is not a traditional wine tour. It is an intimate, personally hosted experience shaped around the places, producers, and relationships we’ve discovered while building a life here in Portugal: small-production wines, thoughtful food, long conversations, and the kind of moments that unfold naturally around a table.

Over the course of the week, we’ll visit wineries and producers, share meals in memorable settings, explore the landscapes and traditions that shape Portugal’s food and wine culture, and make space for the conversations and connections that give the experience its character.

The group is intentionally small, and that is an important part of what makes the retreat special. Rather than simply filling seats, we thoughtfully bring each group together.

Because of this, every guest is asked to apply, including those joining friends or returning to The Unfiltered Table. Places are not offered strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

We ask that you take a moment with the application and tell us a little about yourself, what has drawn you to The Unfiltered Table, your relationship with food and wine, and what you hope to experience during the week.

We personally read every application, and your answers help us create a group of curious, open-minded people who appreciate good wine, good food, meaningful conversation, and the pleasure of sharing it all.
