you’ll meet the winemaker, taste their latest natural wines, learn their process and what makes their wine so unique, ask them questions and have a lovely afternoon. this is a truly one of a kind experience, as these are not commercially produced wines, they are small, independent producers making some of the best wine in the world.

This experience is designed for small groups, couples, or close friends wanting to share an unforgettable experience. Our accommodations include a 3-bedroom/2.5 bath casa, a 2-bedroom/1 bath casa, and a 1-bedroom/1 bath apartment—each offering privacy, comfort, and a home of your own during the week. The houses are all part of The blanco bungalow, a beautiful seaside ranch nestled on 2 acres just north of ericeira and walking distance to the sea.
We encourage you to rally your favorite people—your partner, your best friends, or your dream crew—and come together for a week of incredible meals, insanely good wine, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
To ensure everyone feels at home, you wont share a house with guests from another group, though we do require a minimum number of guests per house. If you're eager to join but can't fill a house on your own, please reach out—we’re happy to provide a custom rate for a more private stay.

Strader helped shape some of Los Angeles’ most celebrated restaurants, including Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, The Hart & the Hunter, and the Michelin-starred Hatchet Hall, which he co-created. He later opened Little Coyote, an award-winning neighborhood pizza shop that quickly became a local favorite.
His projects have earned spots on top LA restaurant lists and praise from critics like the late Jonathan Gold. With a deep knowledge of natural wine and strong ties to winemakers around the world, Strader brings warmth, connection, and expertise to everything he creates.

Her passion for interiors came to life when she transformed the couple’s California bungalow into Blanco Bungalow—a serene, sun-drenched retreat featured in Sunset Magazine, Dwell, Apartment Therapy, and more. Her signature style blends California ease with warmth, light, and intentional detail. The dream has always been simple: a little farm by the sea, with guest houses, gardens, and room to create, host, and entertain.
